Jan 27 2012: Simon and I hung out at Justin Thirsk's house last night. He's the drummer in 98 Mute and his brother Jason was Pennywise's original bass player. Their legendary practice/recording shed is in the back yard. We got to listen to the new Pennywise album coming out this spring (get it) and Fletcher stopped in. Stoked! June 7 20011: A lot has been going on with Solegion. We've been undergoing a line up change since Feb. so that's why we haven't been playing any shows. We should be back on stage in August. In the meantime, Kyle, Simon, and Jarrod have been transforming a few of the hard rocking songs into acoustic trips. We played the first ever acoustic Solegion set last Thurs at Perq's on Main St., downtown Huntington Beach. Also, our roommate Dan Pastor is back with the Metal Mulisha. Congrats dude. Feb. 10 2011: New post in the videos section. It's a clip of Solegion playing the song Ignition at the Key Club in W. Hollywood along with helmet cam footage of Pastor hitting some jumps at Mike Metzger's place. It was created by Team Neighbor. Thanks guys!
Jan. 30 2011: Same crew, Strung Out show, House of Blues Anaheim. Jordan hooked us up with tickets as he always has. If you've never listened to them, check them out now. They were on Crusty Demons of Dirt 1 along with just about every rockin' motocross dvd since. Thanks JB!!!
Jan. 29 2011: Dan, Kyle, Simon, and I drove up to Santa Barbra for the 26th annual international film festival. Our friend Jay Schweitzer has a motocross DVD series called On The Pipe (Pastor's infamous section including his big crash was in On The Pipe 1) and it was his premier at the festival of On The Pipe 6. Jay worked with the classic motocross company Moto XXX co-owned by Jordarn Burns (also the drummer for legendary punk rock band Strung Out), Kurt Haller, and Eric 'Smelly' Sanders (also the drummer for legendary punk rock band NOFX). The video Moto XXX 2 was Pastor's first apperance in a motocross movie. We all had a fun night. Thanks Jay!
Jan. 28 2011: Wow, thanks to everyone involved with what went down at the Key Club show. Just like all of our shows, it felt like a bulldozer was plowing through Hollywood. Whether you were there or back east or support us online or whatever, thank you! This is just the beginning of our CA chapter. Check out the new video from the show that our friends Tim & Louisa (Team Neighbor) shot from the show. There's a shot of Pastor rippin' though a jump section at Reche Canyon near the end too.

At a time period where fake fashion music has the people on this planet fooled; Solegion is emerging as a lifeboat. The name Solegion was formulated circa the year 2000 by combining two words: Sole = one, Legion = many. The extraordinary talented members of this band make up the army that EVERY human is a part of. We are all one. We are all a Solegion .
The revitalizing force that is Solegion came about due to years of trial, misfortune, and good fortune alike. The members of this band have been creating original music for many years in different bands and have finally crossed paths. This is a swell.
This new breath is fueling the most passionate and intense machine to operate in years.
Formed in 2008. Collectively, the members of Solegion have broadcasted our original music through many different outlets including: various radio stations, Sirius Octane, the Vans Warped Tour, ESPN 2 extreme sports shows (Vans Triple Crown, US Open of Surfing), on stages with international bands, have gained major industry sponsors, 3 songs appearing in Crusty Demons of Dirt 15, Charted #1 on Ourstage.com, track #1 on Metal Blade Record's 'Search for the next great metal band', chosen as 1 of 10 bands out of thousands for Sabian's Dreamspot contest, supported various cancer and Make a Wish Foundation shows, all across the world wide web, and many days/nights in bars, fire halls, porches, clubs etc. in the USA. In 2010 we migrated 2,500 miles away from our homes/family/friends in Pennsylvania to jam in Huntington Beach California, went through some lineup changes and in late 2011 with the addition of HB native Jonny McNichols on drums; Solegion are setting out to prove that we mean it.
